The Meadows runner appeared to have 1/2 yard lead as the racers approached the roughly 10 yards shaded area of the finish line (what's with that?).

That is when NT runner (being the shorter runner) appeared to lower her shoulder in her natural next step and by doing so, with the slight dip nips the Meadows runner in a photo finish.

What are the odds of seeing a photo finish and having the two girls sharing the same time?

Honestly.. the title of State Champion should be shared as there were no 1 and 2nd places on Saturday.. just two runners sharing the same winning finish time.
